I recently had the opportunity to work with the Schneider company on an FAT. Three items done well will lead to a successful FAT and Schneider hit the mark on all three. First, planning with documentation. Schneider incorporated the OpX recommendations for FAT into their own checklist to assure key elements of the process were planned and tracked. Second, communication. The Project Manager provided timely and clear communication of requests and expectations. Third, preparedness. Schneider had conducted their own internal FAT prior to the customer arrival. 

Schneider has implemented a highly effective FAT process which contributed to the successful completion of the pre-ship inspection for my client.
