FANUC Robotics Announces Sale of 100,000th Robot in the Americas
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Dec. 6, 2010 – FANUC Robotics America announced the sale of its 100,000th robot in North and South America to Schneider Packaging, securing FANUC Robotics’ position as the leading supplier of robotic automation in the Americas. “Automation and robotics are core tools for manufacturing competitiveness,” said Rick Schneider, president, FANUC Robotics America. “This accomplishment underscores the fact that more companies are using robotic technology to expand their overall operations versus transferring manufacturing overseas.”

On April 15, 2010, the Robotic Industries Association offered a free webinar about robotics used in the food industry. Terry Zarnowski, Director of Sales and Marketing at Schneider Packaging Equipment Company, Inc. was a part of the panel discussion which included RIA members and a guest from the USDA.
New High-Level Palletizer
Schneider Packaging Equipment is proud to announce the new iP Series High-Level Palletizing Systems. Ideal for palletizing heavier products that require taller unit loads, such as pet food products, flour and grains, wood pellets, or heavy industrial cases, the iP Series palletizes at rates up to 65 products per minute, depending on the product.
